Classroom Structure
Classroom management begins long before the students enter the classroom for the first time. The room must be organized in a way that allows for smooth transitions, visibility of all students, accessibility to materials, and the ability to easily organize students in pairs or groups.
My classroom environment will include a place for student work to be showcased. The classroom rules, procedures, and behavior chart will be located at student eye level. One section will be designated as our word wall, and another area will house our calendar and hundreds chart. Parents will also have an information board to refer to for school and community information. < Back to Classroom Management |
